Assoc. Prof. Dr. Başak Şit İmamoğlu

Assoc. Dr. After graduating from Mehmet Emin Resulzade Anatolian High School in 1998, Başak Şit İmamoğlu started her higher education at Ankara University Faculty of Law in the same year. Following her graduation in 2002, she completed her law internship at Ankara Bar Association, received her master's degree with her thesis titled “CIF (Sif) Seller's Obligation to Insure the Goods in Sales” in 2004. In 2005, she worked as an assistant at Ankara University Faculty of Law, Department of Commercial Law. started his job.

After doing doctoral research for one year (2007-2008) at Free Berlin University (Freie Universitaet-Berlin) as a TÜBİTAK scholar, he received the title of "Doctor" in 2010 with his thesis titled "The Concept of Bank Loans in Turkish Law and Its Related Results".

Başak Şit İmamoğlu, who was given the title of "Associate Professor" with her thesis titled "Planned Obsolescence - A Legal Evaluation" in 2020, still continues her duty at Ankara University Faculty of Law. He teaches various courses such as "Commercial Law", "Current Developments in Commercial Law", "Cheque Law", "Guarantee Law", "Bank Regulation Law", "Circular Economy and Law" and his main fields of study are bank contract law, bank regulation law, Prof. Dr., who specializes in commercial business law, corporate law and negotiable instruments law. Şit İmamoğlu speaks advanced English and a good level of German.
